Doc Tibbs

Dr. Patricia Tibbs is a Pediatrician, a wife, and a mother of four wonderful young people. She is a Board Certified Pediatrician practicing in Mississippi. She also has a Master of Public Health Degree in Maternal and Child Health. Dr. Tibbs is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is an author, blogger, mentor, and speaker. Dr. Tibbs has traveled the world and lived in Africa, Europe, and North America.

Conversations on Mothering aims to be a resource for mothers, to walk alongside mothers through the stories of others. Being a perfect mother is not attainable; we will often fail. While we should aim for excellence, we must be good. Most of us are good enough as mothers, but do not realize it because of  outside pressures to be “perfect”.

I pray these pages encourage you, move you, and challenge you to raise children who love God, who care for others no matter where they are from, who are strong and resilient, and most of all, who get to adulthood with an understanding of the good purpose for which they were created.
